Sarah Rutherfoord

Sarah Rutherfoord’s paintings have been exhibited in regional and nationally juried exhibitions in the south and New York. Her religious work hangs in Episcopal Churches in Georgia and Roanoke, VA. Work can also be found in many corporate and private collections. Sarah is comfortable creating non-representational as well as representational pieces believing that one style refreshes and strengthens the other. The one constant throughout all of her work is her fine use of vivid color.  Along with exhibiting Sarah has thoroughly enjoyed teaching fine art to children over the past 10 years. She finds their innate creative process inspiring. Several of her young students are exhibiting their work and doing quite well receiving top awards, lucrative commissions and acceptance into top schools of art.
