“Best in Show,”  a fundraiser for the Roanoke Valley SPCA is featured in the gallery through March 6, when the show moves to the Shenandoah Club for an additional two weeks.  Over 250 paintings and ten sculptures are in the show, including works by professional artists, lovers of animals of all kinds, and children.  This delightful show which opened at the Taubman Museum of Art, Feb. 19 was viewed by 1600 people at the opening reception.  Over ninety paintings have been sold.  Charlie Brouwer of Willis was the show’s judge.
