Welcome to The Market Gallery, located on the historic market in downtown Roanoke, Virginia at 23 Salem Avenue on the corner of Wall Street and Salem Ave (see map and directions below).
Our gallery is an artist member cooperative of twenty-seven regional artists who exhibit paintings, drawings, assemblages, sculpture, serigraphs, photography, pottery, urban artifacts and other artforms. Click on ARTISTS to see representative images.

The Market Gallery is a member of Roanoke’s Art By Night. Over fifteen galleries near to downtown Roanoke stay open from 5-9 pm on the first Thursday night of each month. Most area galleries have free copies of the recent brochure which includes a map, the days and hours each gallery is open and their web address. Light refreshments. http://www.roanokeartbynight.com

Hours of Operation:
Our hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. We are open occasional Sundays, 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Please call 342-1177 to check for Sunday hours. We are open every first Thursday night until 9:00pm. Our gallery is wheelchair accessible and stroller-friendly.
